Mexico: A Major Target for Cyberattacks

In recent years, México has become one of the most targeted countries for CYBERATTACKS in Latin America.


In 2025 alone, over 35 billion attack attempts were recorded, placing country among the top targets for cybercriminals.



This rise is driven by rapid digital transformation, remote work adoption, and increased use of connected technologies, all of which expand the attack surface for businesses and individuals.


The most common threats include PHISHING and RANSOMWARE, where human error remains the weakest link. In fact, most successful attacks begin with deceptive emails designed to steal sensitive information or system access.
